DEFEATING RECOGNITION is a project run by a small group of friends. We consist mostly of master students and technology enthusiasts, all of whom feel there is a need for greater individual privacy in the digital era.
We’d classify ourselves as a “negative-profit non-company”. That means we’re not even a non-profit: this is a passion project entirely backed with our own time and money.
This does mean progress can be slow. However, we feel that by keeping this project investor-free, we can maintain a greater level of transparency and integrity throughout it’s course.
